Nylon MG Cable Glands
Nylon MG Cable Glands are cable entry components used to fix and seal electrical cables where they pass through panels, junction boxes, or equipment housings. The body is made of PA66 nylon, combined with a rubber sealing insert (typically NBR or EPDM) and a threaded lock nut, forming a compression structure that grips the cable outer jacket.
How It Works (Compression Sealing Structure)
When the gland is tightened, the internal sealing ring is compressed around the cable sheath, while the claw structure grips the cable mechanically. This dual action creates two functions in one installation:
Sealing the gap between cable and enclosure opening
Providing strain relief to reduce cable pull force on internal terminals
This structure is designed to maintain sealing performance under vibration and repeated cable movement.
