How to choose the length and width of black cable ties that suit your needs?

1. Measure the circumference of the bundled object
Single cable: diameter ×π (e.g. cable diameter 10mm, circumference ≈31.4mm);
Multiple cables/harnesses: pinch the cables and measure the outer circumference (to avoid the cable tie slipping due to too looseness);
Special objects: irregular objects such as pipes and brackets, just circle around to measure the actual required bundling length.

2. Reserve the appropriate length (key!)
Basic reserve: add 10-20mm to the circumference (make sure there is a 1-2cm margin at the tail after locking to prevent it from being too short to lock or too long to shake).
Example: circumference 150mm → choose 180mm or 200mm cable tie (reserve 30-50mm, because the lock structure of different brands is slightly different, it is recommended to choose a similar standard length).
Loose bundling (needs to be adjusted later): add 20-30mm, suitable for scenarios that require flexible adjustment (such as temporary fixation, cables may be added or reduced later).
Compact bundling (no adjustment after fixation): add 10-15mm, suitable for scenarios that pursue neatness (such as wiring of electronic equipment).
