Reusable cable ties realize their functions through the integrated release button on the head: the button is linked with the locking ratchet. When pressed, the ratchet disengages from the teeth of the belt body, and the belt body can be loosened to adjust the tightness. Its core structure uses highly elastic nylon (such as PA66 plus glass fiber) to ensure the fatigue resistance of the lock and button. Conventional models support more than 20,000 openings and closings. If used in frequent adjustment scenarios such as laboratory equipment and exhibition layout, it is recommended to choose industrial-grade models with reinforced springs. The service life can be increased to 50,000 times, and the tensile strength of each use remains more than 80% of the initial value. ​

What is the difference between plastic cable ties with UL 94 V-0 and V-2 flame retardant grades? In which scenarios must V-0 be used?​

The core difference of UL 94 flame retardant grades lies in the burning speed and dripping: V-0 grade cable ties will self-extinguish within 10 seconds after encountering fire, and there will be no burning dripping; V-2 grade allows self-extinguishing within 10-30 seconds, and dripping may ignite the cotton underneath. Scenarios where V-0 grade must be used include: data center cabinets (cables are dense, and the risk of fire is high), medical equipment interiors (need to avoid contamination by burning materials), subway/high-speed rail electrical systems (crowded places, high safety redundancy requirements). For ordinary households or non-electrical environments (such as packaging), V-2 grade has met basic safety needs.
