Brass pg cable gland is a cable waterproof joint made of neptunium-plated brass. The installation and removal steps are as follows:
Install:
Put the nut, sealing ring and claws of the gland on the cable in sequence, making sure that the direction of the claws is consistent with the cable.
Pass the cable through the main body of the cable gland so that the outer sheath of the cable fits closely with the main body of the cable gland.
Push the claw onto the body of the cable gland so that the tip of the claw is embedded in the outer sheath of the cable.
Press the seal against the claws so that the inner diameter of the seal matches the outer diameter of the cable.
Tighten the nut so that the sealing ring and claws form a complete sealing system with the body of the gland.
Align the main body of the gland with the threaded hole of the device, tighten the gland, and complete the installation.
Disassembly:
Unscrew the main body of the gland from the threaded hole of the device and remove the gland.
Loosen the nut, remove the sealing ring and claws, and pull the cable out of the body of the gland to complete the disassembly.
