Compared with some users who found the problem of discoloration and yellowing when using nylon ties, it is generally caused by the yellowing and discoloration of nylon ties after long-term storage, so why does the nylon ties appear yellowing and discoloration, and how to avoid it?
1、 Cause
Discoloration and yellowing of nylon ties is one of the common problems, which is mainly caused by the following six reasons:
1. Due to poor material quality, if the nylon ribbon manufacturer wants to control the production cost or the user directly buys ultra-low price ribbon, the ribbon produced by inferior materials is very easy to turn yellow and discolor;
2. As we all know, the nylon ribbon is produced by the injection molding machine when the injection molding temperature is too high. If the production technology of the manufacturer is not mature and the temperature of the injection molding machine is too high, the nylon ribbon will be directly baked yellow;
3. As we all know, nylon ties will be dried during production if the drying time is too long. If the manufacturer does not control the drying time, it will also directly lead to discoloration and yellowing;
4. The production process is not cooled and dissipated in time, especially the nylon tie mold is not cooled and dissipated in time, which will also lead to discoloration and yellowing;
5. Due to improper post-treatment, the nylon tie needs heat treatment and other operations after coming out of the injection molding machine. If we do not handle it in time or in place, the tie will also change color and turn yellow;
6. Due to natural oxidation, the purchased nylon ties are not stored in a dry and ventilated environment during use. Long term and neutralizing the oxygen base in a humid environment will lead to oxidation, discoloration and yellowing of the nylon ties.
2、 Preventive methods
Through the above six reasons for the discoloration and yellowing of nylon tie, we can find that on the one hand, the nylon tie manufacturer selects raw materials and improves the production process, on the other hand, the user keeps the nylon tie well to avoid discoloration and yellowing.
